TUMUT 7 TIE WOOLSHED 7 CANE CENTRE The Tumut 7 Tie broom is made from a smalled-seeded grass called Millet. The millet strands are bound onto the tasmanian oak handle using wire which achieves a nice finish by placing the straightest fibres on the outside. A cane centre is used for additional strength, making it ideal for outdoor use. Tumet Brooms are handmade in the Tumet Broom Factory. This process is very time and labour intensive, using only millet which is hand graded for quality and length
